MSc Program
The School's MSc Program
The School offers the degree of Master of Science (MSc) by research.
Admission is usually restricted to holders of an Honours degree in
Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or a related subject. The degree
requires at least one year of study, at the end of which the candidate
for the degree submits a dissertation that is subject to review by an
external examiner. Full-time students must usually complete their
degrees within three years, while part-time students have five years.
Students interested in studying for an MSc should contact the Head of School and as soon as possible find a member of the academic staff prepared to act as their supervisor.
