The mathematics of control theory focusing on a selection of topics from: n-dimensional unconstrained optimization; n-dimensional constrained optimization & the Kuhn-Tucker conditions. Calculus of variations. Linearquadratic control theory, controllability, observability & stability. Hamiltonian formulation & Pontryagin's principle. |
